Datahop presence:
Datahop was the first independent multi 10 GigE provider at Telehouse Metro. Datahop classifies this Datacentre as fully on-net, popular for supply of Datahop Multihomed IP Transit, Datahop ports for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint interlinks, plus all IP services from NTT Verio, Telia Sonera and Sprint are available.

Background:
Expansion site in City of London which initially took off less successfully due to lack of affordable reliable layer 2 links. Now filling quickly.

Availability of Colocation:
Contact direct or via resellers or suite owners. Ordinarily 4Amps (240V) per rack but some reported to have 16A/rack on the ground floor. No DC power available although some have colocated equipment to provide the DC needed for their equipment.

Cabling Policy:
Open. Any approved contractor with requisite insurances complying with Telehouse working practices and routing may apply for a permit to work from the Cabling Manager.

Access Policy:
True 24/7 walk-in for contacts on access list. For others within 15 minutes of e-mail receipt from approved authorised contact.

Security:
Shared office building. Ground and first floor as Datacentre. Front reception and Telehouse Reception provide security.

Remote hands:
Excellent. Minimum of one highly trained technician available 24/7. Reboots and minimal eyes/hands (within reason) currently free. Connection of circuits or more involved work is chargeable.

Parking:
On site parking no longer available for customer. NCP within 200 yards (outside congestion zone) available. Customers of City Lifeline could also park there. Metered short stay parking outside the door. Motorbike parking on-street believed to be free.

Stores:
24/7 receipt of goods without notice to dedicated storage area. Collection required within 1 month.

Connectivity:
2x10Gbps fibre links. Systems core. CFM2
